Call for Abstract Submissions

We warmly invite abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations at the upcoming 15th General Breast Imaging Group Meeting.

Abstract submissions are welcomed from all interested attendees and provide an excellent opportunity to showcase research, quality improvement projects, educational initiatives, audits, innovations in practice, and case-based experiences relevant to breast imaging and associated disciplines.


The meeting aims to encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and discussion across the breast imaging community, and we strongly encourage submissions from clinicians, trainees, researchers, and allied health professionals.


Accepted abstracts may be selected for oral or poster presentation as part of the scientific program.

We look forward to your contributions and to an engaging and high-quality meeting program.

Notification of acceptance: 20 November 2026

Abstract Submission Process

By submitting your abstract, you agree to the abstract terms and conditions.

 

Prepare your abstract:

  • Download and use the abstract submission template.
  • Download and save the abstract terms and conditions for easy reference.
  • Save abstract as a .doc or .docx file in an easily accessible location on your computer.
  • The abstract document should not include presenters, authors or their affiliations as submissions will be blind reviewed.

 

Gather required information:

Before accessing the presentation portal, ensure you have the following details ready for each abstract:

  • Abstract title
  • Presentation type (oral or poster)
  • Authors and their affiliations

 

Submit your abstract:

  • Access the presentation portal, register with your email address and create a password.
  • Update your contact information and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your abstract.

 

Multiple submissions:

  • You can upload multiple abstracts using the same login details.
  • You may revisit the portal to upload additional abstracts until the submission deadline on 26 October 2026.

 

Confirmation email:

You will receive a confirmation email once you have submitted your abstract. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please contact the Conference Manager via jo@outshine.co.nz.

 

Acceptance notification:

  • Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 20 November 2026.
  • Please note that early bird registration closes on 29 November 2026.
